MALAYAN TIGERS

The Malayan tiger is much like the Indochinese tiger physically, and wasn’t actually considered as a different subspecies until early 2000’s. It is also critically endangered and highly valuable in the black market. Some people think the  Malayan tiger’s scientific name should be Panthera tigris jacksoni after Peter Jackson, a conservationist for big cats, and some people think it should be called Panthera tigris malayensis because of where it lives. It’s also known as the Southern Indochinese tiger.
